A year ago Patrick wrote a post "Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Prolactin" with similar conclusions. One of the articles in his list of citations was "Possible involvement of prolactin in endocrine-resistant metastatic prostate cancer"--the year of the paper was 2005! What happened to this theory in the ensuing 13 year? If what the current paper claims is true, why aren't we being tested for prolactin levels, since the solution to this problem seems fairly simple and straightforward?

I think that resveratrol keeps prolactin levels down. There is info out there if you are interested. Just google "resveratrol prolactin."
