Oh my comrade, I’m praying for your strength and courage right now. Hard work to be the spouse.
There are many here who are waiting with you, remembering all the scary, lonely moments they have faced in the past. Though humanity can be cold and indifferent, there is empathy in us. You may not see our faces or hear our voices, but we sit beside you hoping for the best.
My thoughts are with you for good results.
Are they supplementing the surgery with any Chemo or ADT?
Going to have to do hormone because the surgery did not cure him. The pathology report showed positive margins and cancer in the neck of the bladder. This very minute we’re in our local ER , our fourth time since his selvedge surgery . This time lots of blood in his catheter and lots of pain.
So sorry you have to go they this. On this site we often can’t help ourselves but to ask about the game plan. Bad timing but make a note to Ask about ADT and Zytega. Latest studies show early use of both together increasing life span some 40%.
Schwah.
I hope all goes well.
Prayers for recovery and great outcome. You hang in there. You are not alone my friend. Carol
🙏🙏🙏. Hoping for the best, always the worst waiting on the doctors to come out and tell you everything is good 😀
I will keep you in my thoughts and hope for the best.
Hoping for the best results and speedy recovery you both. 💐

My best to you both. Hang in there.
Thank you, the surgery went well and the surgeon said negative in the lymph noids . I asked how do we know it is a success they said by the pathology report and psa testing in about six weeks. We have not seen the MO since the surgery. My husband stopped breathing in recovery due to his sleep apnea. But did very well yesterday but today was rough, low on oxygen, abdomen pain, dribbling when he walks even with a catheter, drain from incision , stomach binder, and now a diaper☺️
Our prayers are with you both! Obviously, yours is not an easy road at all. Good news about the clear lymph nodes. A good friend from Waukegan/Rockford/Zion, IL days is still recovering from open-heart surgery (the second time at age 86). She and her sister own a home in Zion. Small world. During her surgery she acquired the dreaded MRSA, but we just heard she is now negative. Nurses and doctors from a nearby hospital wound center have been at her Twin Cities home every other day. Scary experience for them and certainly for you. We trust your husband is doing much better by now, August 6th. Mrs. S
Hello! That’s a hard thing MRSA my aunt passed away in her 80’s from that. Glad she is getting proper care and it is a small world indeed. My husband is still recovering. Wearing depends I think a emotional hurdle for us to get over as well as his patience getting through the recovery process. It’s hard him not being in charge. Lol we are still in the hospital. I enjoy reading my messages from fellow travelers of the PC world.
