I had an implant about six months ago. Like many people I wonder what happened to the penis I use to have. I knew I would lose length. But I thought my length would be similar to what it was with the pump.
I read somewhere that some people used the pump and then inflate the implant. That sounds dangerous to me. Does anyone know if this is safe?

Hey Gehrig, don’t know about the pump or ED solutions. As a man I say “ Do whatever you feel you need to with your body...to improve quality of function. Good luck. Remember having sex and a hard on does not make us men. Sex is in our DNA payday.. It’s a reward for young healthy people... For me is a notion. If and when it happens , it’s a great reward to both parties.. besides sex, remain loving and intimate with our partner.. Its tuff on them as well. After so many tubes and stints and urologicigal suffering that my wife witnessed. It’s a miracle if any sexual, desire still remains. Good luck .. TGIF
I don't think it is safe to use a pump after an implant. I used a pump every day for about 2 years after my RP surgery to help maintain length. When I realized nothing was going to come back and I would need to get an implant, I made sure to pump up for about 15 minutes at least once a day until the implant surgery. Right before the implant, my length was actually about 1/2" longer than originally. After the implant, the length is about 1/2" shorter than originally, so I lost an inch with the implant compared with the pump length. However, compared with my original length, it was only a slight loss. I believe using the pump prior to the implant was invaluable.
It is possible that your implant surgeon was conservative when choosing the size of your implant. An implant that is sized slightly too large can cause problems by eroding through the skin of your penis. Perhaps he did not try to get the maximum possible safe size. Feel your implant tips when inflated. Mine are about midway into the glans area. Then, try tugging on the penis gently. Can you increase the length even slightly? If so, that might mean the surgeon could have implanted a slightly longer implant. Try going to another implant surgeon and getting a second opinion.
So this guy goes into a bar and sees this very pretty woman sitting at the bar and a real ugly guy sitting across from her. A few minutes later he sees this ugly guy walking out the door with the pretty woman on his arm. The guy says to the bartender "how can such a pretty woman walk out with that real ugly guy?" Bartender says "I don't know, all I know was the guy was just sitting there licking his eyebrows".
Get my drift?
Good luck and Good Health.

My advice. Don't sweat the small stuff. Concentrate on beating this bastard. Stay positive.
