Anybody have any experience with this test. April of 2016 my urologist decided to give me this test instead of a biopsy since the last biopsy came back negative. Test came back 3+1 or a 4 % chance I would get a aggressive cancer, August 2016 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer with Mets.

Well, that sucks. I know that any 4k score over 7.5 is an indication to have a biopsy -- what does 3+1 mean? How were you diagnosed?
Well on the paper readout I have if the DRE was abnormal with a nodule (which I have had for 30 years ) there was a 3%chance of aggressive cancer. If there was not a abnormal DRE then there was a 1% chance. I was having trouble breathing. Felt like I had a broken rib when deep breathing ,also swollen lymph nod in my groin. Doctor ordered a blood panel, came back with a alkaline level of 900 ( 90 is normal ). Then went in for a cat with contrast came back with Mets I could see on the photo, last but not least they went in and biopsies my bones and lymph nodes. I’m sure I missed a step but it was a week between the first to last test. Doctors kicked ass to get me started 😜
How does that happen under a Dotors care.? I went into kidney failure while under my Uros care awaiting his return from spring break with his kids...for my biopsy. I didn’t feel good. I told them . They said go home , it’s friday, go see your GP on Monday , this pain is not urological .. I went into ICU that night. After bi-lateral neauphrositmy sugery that night, the attending surgeon ( representing my Az U Institute) still was saying that their guidelines didn’t require to check kidnies, as she held up and showed me her I-phone. As evidence of no wrong doing. They were lawyering up . My concern a5 that time was to just live another day. I couldn’t stay angry. They did say that now ,due to me that their policy has changed to get guys super advanced a biopsy before kidney failure. It’s a miracle that any of us survive contact with our modern medical system 1/3 of deaths are medical errors...
Will have to say that I talked to my urologist the other day and he was lost for a explanation, how the test could have been off so far. I am lucky thou he is a member of the same group that my oncologist is,Mosaic they have been on the ball even when it was weekends or nights at the ER
