Hi Guys. My name is Col Bray and I live on the Gold Coast in Australia.

Diagnosed 2014. PSA 57 / Gleason 9. Failed Primary ADT Nov 2017.

2018 - Complete Scans show no Mets (stated as micro mets and suspected Lymph involvement.) Awaiting next Treatment.

Contributions from the learned men on this site spectacular. Thank You.

Welcome. If you are near Brisbane, perhaps you can get to a face-to-face Prostate Cancer Support Group?

Perhaps via:

Brisbane PCSG, Peter Dornan, Convenor,

07 3371 9155,

prdornan@bigpond.com.au

Or, if elsewhere in Queensland, see:

prostate.org.au/support/lis...

There's nothing quite like being in a supportive room full of prostate cancer people who "get it".

Those who live relatively nearby also have a collective knowledge of local treatment centers, doctors, referral prostate cancer specialists, etc.

Please do keep us updated as you prepare to start your next treatment(s).

Apalutamide (Erleada) was recently approved in the US for cases like yours (non-metastatic castration-resistant PC). Perhaps Australia will follow suit. We expect that Xtandi will also be approved for this indication this year. Xtandi is already available for metastatic castration-resistant PC, so you might be able to talk your doctors/insurance into prescribing it for you now.

Thank you.

Because of other health concerns Enzalutamide is an option.

We could but it is more likely Enzalutamide will be the treatment of choice.
