Anyone else been down this road?

Just had a cystoscopy done to determine cause of weak stream. Those are fun! Looks like malformed prostate is blocking the flow. Next step is a cystic-turp where they go in the same way they do for a cystoscopy and clean up the blockage. Can't wait!

Anyone one else been down this road? If so, I would appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Just the cystoscope part several times by two different urologist. Actually no biggie.

I had TURP surgery over 10 years ago. Only regret is that I put it off too long. Pretty routine surgery. Knock off the nsaids or blood thinner things like Vit E and fish oil at least a week in advance.

Thanks for the feedback! One of my concerns is that it is just a temporary fix and I will need the same procedure again down the road. It sounds like you only needed it once ten years ago. That's encouraging.
