Stop bladder stimulation

After stage 3 P.C.... I am left with multiple trips to the bathroom each night. After bad reactions to meds to treat it my Dr. suggested trying injecting Botox in the bladder .. had anyone had this done, and does it work.. thanks in advance.

I did not use botox, but before my artificial urninary sphincter implantation, my urologist got some success from Myrbetriq and Duloxetine. Best wishes.

I'm scheduled for a BNI, bladder neck incision operation in 3 weeks to help with my 2 to 6 trips a night to the toilet. Maybe ask about that.

It sounds like your bladder isn't able to completely empty after a voiding attempt. I am well familiar with that, from my BPH days. Have they given you an ultrasound test to measure volume retained after a voiding attempt? Sounds like some sort of obstruction. I assume that flowmax didn't help much. Good luck, there has to be a fix for that.

Thanks, I’ll ask my doc. It started because the cancer spread to quite a ways up the neck of the bladder and the 8 weeks of radiation I had affected the rest of it..
