This site has a few people who I wish were my oncologists, they know that much. (Maybe they are).
Hey nameless9999, for some reason I didn't get all of your earlier reply.
You mentioned you had just had a DEXA scan, then it ended.
Well I'm 67, been running for 40 years, (27 marathons,) countless 13.1's, etc. My last dexa came back using the t score, spine normal, left and right hips very slightly above normal. Using a calculator called FRAX, I have a 10% chance of a fracture in 10 years IF i'm still alive. My two MO'S both told me to keep running and lifting. I'm starting to take Ultra Vitamin K with Advanced K2 Complex along with D3 and Calcium. I was supposed to run a 10K today but they canceled it because of the -17 Fahrenheit( -22 Celsius.) wind chills. Sissies.
That's a very impressive running history. Good on you. I've only 3 marathons up my sleeve, that was tough enough.
Here in Sydney we are having a 45 degree Celsius day. Worst heatwave for 11 years! A suburb called Penrith, which is about a 30 minute drive from here, was apparently the hottest place on Earth today with a temperature of 52.5 Celsius. We're lucky we are only 35 minutes from the beach !
Cheers
Never ran a marathon but rode New York City subways for years, does that count?
Good Luck and Good Health.
