Androgen Receptor independent prostate cancer

PC can be androgen independent. Can it be Androgen Receptor independent.

I assume the answer is No, the Androgen Receptor is still essential, so other attacks on the AR (other than DHT impersonators) would be useful. The entire macro-molecule is called the androgen receptor, but actually only the LBD (ligand binding domain) "receives" the "androgen" so that the ARv7 is an androgen receptor that cannot receive androgen.

The AR goes to the nucleus and does something. Maybe does many things.

1.I assume that the genes for the AR are in the DNA, and something goes into the nucleus to transcribe the AR polypeptide from the DNA, via mRNa and a Ribosome. That's just the way the whole thing works. Maybe the AR itself does that?

2. I conjecture that the AR does the same to generate PSA, and

3. I assume that the AR must also at times cause cell division, or else it would not be a target for cancer treatement.

Any other things that the AR might do, or any other ideas along this line?

I think if we could manage to corral all the ARs or keep them otherwise busy, that the disease would disappear.
