Metastatic Prostate CA beyond pelvic lymph nodes CA traveling up to nodes in neck/cervical area?

Anyone with a similar diagnosis or spread? What treatments have you had. ?

My Mike has prostate cancer in his lymph nodes-so far only in his lymph nodes- taking jevtana chemo right now - has taken Zytiga, xtandi, provenge Immunetherapy, & radiation. He has terrible constipation in his intestines now - terrible pain- all this started in Dec 2012

I also have stage 4, with mets all over my body, bones, lymph, spine, skull, etc..

I am taking jevtana chemo, and HT, yes I have some complications and side effects

but I am still fighting.

Keep fighting Jack. My bone tumours disappeared after 10 chemo cycles, similar spread to you except skull. Now in 11th month of Zytiga and running clear at 0.030. God Bless. David

Dx Nov 2013 Very Metastatic Prostate Cancer at Age 65

Numerous Bone Mets and Lymph Nodes, top to bottom, PSA 5,006

ADT Lupron + Zometa, PSA Nadir 1.0

Resistance after two years.

Short rechallenge Casodex.

Oct 2016 Provenge

Dec 2016 Start Xtandi at PSA 95

Jul 2017 PSA 1.5

I was diagnosed before the results of the CHAARTED/STAMPEDE trials recommending initial ADT + Early Chemo (Docetaxel). In hindsight, I would have considered that had it been offered. Also in hindsight, I would have started Provenge and Zytiga or Xtandi before my resistant PSA went back up as high as 95.

I have also attended multiple Prostate Cancer and Cancer support groups during the past 3 years and 9 months. They have been quite helpful.
