Hi SADHAK,
I wanted to reply because I was turned down for Xtandi, but approved for Zytiga. The Z hasn't bothered me at all after five months of taking it. I assume you were taking Prednisone along with the Z, which helps the liver. Were all different, but I hope the Xtandi works for you with no side effects. I would like to now how you found out about your liver problem that caused the change in meds. Was it from pain, or blood work?
I'm a lifelong beer drinker, and lucky for me, my liver is in good shape. Did you happen to have liver problems from before the PCa?
Joe
My blood work results especially liver function tests were beyond permissible limits
I do not drink and had no liver problems.
This just proves we all are different.
I am on xtandi and have been since 4/16. The only serious side effect I am experiencing is urinary incontinence, I wear a pad. There are some other minor side effects not worth mentioning, runny nose, etc.
Thanks
