This is the "Advanced Prostate Cancer" group. Do you look at others? I feel that posts in (say) the Clinical Trials group will not be looked at, since so few people go there. Do you comer here mostly? (thanks)

Martin,
I think going on a trial takes a special kind of person. I did one, and was really pissed at how it turned out. But this is just my experience. I did it because I was relatively young at 53. Stayed on it about a year, until I got mets, and didn't get mets. It depended on who I was speaking to. I call it Left Coast, trial doc, and Right Coast, my docs, and they actually argued over it. It was a total disaster, and I haven't heard a word from the trial pharma company, who I signed a contract with. All I have to say is be real careful, a contract with a reputable drug company don't seem to be worth much.

I don't look at others. I actually didn't know you could. I'm going to the Clinical trials next. I wonder if there are any trials that are accomplishing anything of value. I have read a couple in other places that were stopped because the results weren't as good as expected. One day.
I check all three at least once a week.
If you have joined multiple communities, don't the most recent posts from each of them show up on your Home page when you sign in? I just start there and read the new posts. Most of the time they are from this group, though sometimes I find myself down into a different community.
Oh maybe. I did not notice much activity on the "Trials" group.
