I've been on this site for awhile, formally known as "NYMets", the experience from all others are diverse, there is no logic about the outcome. Our biology is simply beyond our realm, scientific exploration and mathematics are useless into understanding what we are, and why we got cancer.
Prostate Cancer was programmed into our "self" at conception, I've finally come to peace with this, I'll do my best to help others, that are where I've been...

Yep, should have chosen a career of "Computation Biologist", instead of a software developer, my code has to get something done, you know accountability and all that stuff, the former would have a been a life of, well, something like a politician without the concern for votes...
That's pretty grim. If I can, I would recommend you read YOU CAN FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE by Lawrence LeShan. You just might find that psychotherapy can help in the fight for cancer.
I always thought you'd change your userID again, but to "NyJets" 👀 this time (Next week they're playing my High School football team).
For a long time (even before my Pca) it has been my belief that we all are born with these "Mother" F. cancer cells. Most of the time these M.F. cells just chill out and stay hidden till it's their December 7, 1941 holiday. Attack, Attack, Attack....when most of us are ready for (or already) retirement.
So Harry here's that engraved Timex watch we promised you for your 40 years of loyal service with the company. We wish to inform you that you no longer will be covered by our Medical Plan but you will be entitled to Medicare. We were going to take you out to a luncheon party but Mr. Big is out sick today and there's no one around to sign the luncheon chit. Stop by sometime in the future and we'll make it up to you. Call first.........
Hello Harry, can you hold on Dr. Fingerhut wants to speak to you. Hello Harry, this is the doctor, you have Prostate cancer!!! Now the fun begins.....
I don't believe I was "born with prostate cancer " . No one in my family, relatives etc have ever had it as far as I'm aware. I know it doesn't matter anymore how I developed it and it's not really helpful to even consider the origin. But I'll give you a clue :
" I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered"
