This article is interesting. However it is from 2004, In 12 years, there should be a lot more collected data. There should a lot of current or updated information about this treatment protocol. Also, Dr Bob says not to begin this treatment with someone who has bone pain from Prostrate cancer. What about those who have bone mets but not any pain yet.

Nal,
You would be nuts to try the Bipolar Treatment now. If you have biochemical failure on your current protocol you can add Xtandi....if you fail that and develop CRPC that would be the time to try the Bipolar treatment to re-establish androgen sensitivity. Remember there are new therapies like check point inhibitors in the pipeline. Even Patrick developed bone mets and he could have extensive lymph node disease..he never mentioned whether he had the Choline 11 or PSMA scans...Patrick one said his PSA got to 54.

Hi Gus,
I'm new to the site and seeing this post - do you have any experience with Dr. Leibowitz? My husband is considering going to him for a consult. He has MPC, is on lupron, xgeva and zytiga but is looking for an alternative. We just finished reading Friedman's The New Testosterone.
Thank you for your input.
