I’m a 38 year old mom of 4, and I have adhd. I am hoping to start getting up early and running and having some time to myself. The problem is I love to sleep in. I work extremely well with accountability so I am wondering if there’s a woman on here that also has a daily goal in mind, and would like to be accountability partners? Just a quick text each day to support each other? (Someone with an early morning goal who’s also on Eastern Standard Time would be ideal -but not necessary.) Please private message me if this interests you! Thanks

Accountability Partner!
I have a nightly goal to make sure I do my daily diary… you could text me in the mornings. It would have to be off the forum, since I only get random emails when it’s through the forum and I don’t check all of the time.
Your post interests me. I am here to learn about ADHD because I feel my78-year-old sister has it. You use the word "accountability"; do you have references or helpful information on accountability? My sister has always counted on me to bail her out of situations, financial and procrastination for example waiting to apply for license renewal day before expiration and failing. I'm at a burn-out point especially because at her age, she won't change. I like your idea and kudos to you for your efforts.
Good day, Prairiefrontporch,
Thank you for contacting CHADD National Resource Center on ADHD. Have you heard of an app called Focusmate? I think it might be really helpful for you or anyone looking for a productivity partner. It’s quite simple to use you just book a session and join a video call to stay accountable while working on your tasks. You can find more information here: focusmate.com/how-it-works/
If there is anything else you need, please let me know.
