I was wondering, with the creative genius that ADHD minds are, if groups of people had set up a website or database to help people find meds during the shortage?
Database of availible meds and location? - CHADD's Adult ADH...

Brilliant idea. Could also be used as a x-ref to drug interactions. Execution is the challenge, but if it was crowd-grown it could work... if it hasn't already been done.
I would have loved to have known about the problems with SSRIs, both the physical side effects and emotional, if you have been taking them for 15yrs before starting on, say, Adderall. What a $#%@! nightmare rollercoaster. And one my psychiatrist, on national boards no less, hadn't a %#:€|☆ clue about. But I digress...
I feel your pain! Well, not exactly but I think I know how you feel after taking SSRI's for at least 25 years without any success. Then, like you I started on Adderall and it was all the difference in the world.
It is truly a nightmare scenario trying to find a good prescriber.
BTW there's a forum called Surviving Anti-Depressants and it's filled with stories like yours.
What I did was ask my insurance to approve 10 mg tablets of Adderall instead of the 20 mg tablets which were harder to get. I didn't have any problem with shortages after that.
Just a thought.
