Hi, I have ADHD and I have been on vyvanse for a long time and it works wonders for me, however my husband has just been put on vyvanse 40mg and for the first two days he felt euphoric like and felt really good, then on the 3rd and 4th day of taking it he feels, spacey and his head feels foggy? What dose this mean, as I have never experienced this my self?

IMO, starting at 40mg is way too high. Probably too high of dose as I was started at 10mg and slowly ramped up to 50mg over the course of a year

Your husband should tell the doctor about the experience.

Like Ampersand1 said, it might have been a reaction to too high of a dosage. Doctors and psychiatrists often use a strategy called "titration" to build up the dosage over a month or two.

It may also be his particular response to the medication. I've read often enough of people experience euphoria initially. I've also heard of people from sleepy/groggy/ brain fog after a few days or weeks, which usually goes away.

Did you talk to your doctor? I think you should not increase it unless the doctor prescribes it.
