I have found that anxiety, which seems to be a component of my ADHD, allows me able 4 hours hours a night. Harnessing the anxiety has been the key for me. I hope you find the answer Brother

I purchased Genexa brand “Sleepology” natural ingredient sleep aid. It knocks me out within 15 minutes. It actually works. It’s $11 for a month’s supply. I’m careful about what I take because I have developed multiple medication allergies as an adult. I can’t take sleeping pills because I hate the anesthetizing feeling! I’ll fight going to sleep until my body is zonked, yet my brain is awake. I find that doing mindfulness, listening to music, and doing relaxing CBT exercises works best for me. I use earplugs to make my environment quieter. A fan helps me to relax as well. I hope that you can find what works best for your situation.
