Stuck and sad.

I’m feeling down and sad today I had the worst migraine ever the other night and threw up all of my meds. I haven’t felt right since. I can’t focus at all. I have been fighting off headaches. Weather has been weird. Also Dr. has my bp meds mixed up. Waiting for the refill. I’m worried because I am trying to get a job. I feel kind of stuck. I am not motivated at all. I am tired. I can’t get anything done. I’m wondering if I SHOULD have my mood stabilizer increased. Doctor offered, said it was low. I said to wait and see. Maybe a migraine medicine would be good since I get migraines. I feel like it doesn’t take much to stop me in my tracks or set me back. I want to be more stable and consistent.

I feel you, one minute you can be doing great and making your way through life, and the next something seemingly minor happens and your world crumbles around you. I'm actually there myself, but a different situation, of course. I don't know if this will help you but I'm trying to remind myself that as quickly as things fall, they rise up again just as fast. This is just one moment, who knows what the next will be like.

Hi Jengirl. Yeah, migraines are horrible. My adult adhd son gets chronic debilitating migraines very often. Like 3 a week. He too feels stuck and like he cant accomplish anything. He sees a neurologist regularly and has prescription med (a triptan) which sometimes helps but he is not allowed to take more than twice a week. He started on Aimovig which so far hasn't made any difference.

Know that you are not alone. Hang in there. Hugs to you.
