Hello guys I’m currently on roaccutane 80mg/day in my third to forth month on the pills im taking pills for my liver too although many of my friends said that they haven’t. Last few days I saw that the mole on my hand that I’ve had since I remember is now turning from dark brown to lighter shade of brown and I’m a little bit concerned. Although it can be due to my hands(it’s on my right hand) turning red from the weather and the skin cracking. I read somewhere that a mole changing its color indicates the possibility of skin cancer although I don’t know of any type of cancer in my family so im thinking it could be from the isotretinoin. Any of you had a similar problem?

I recommend you get the mole checked out by a doctor, just in case. You’re probably worrying for nothing, but they can usually tell straight away if it’s concerning. I see a mole specialist - I’ve previously been worried about moles and she has put my mind at ease. I hope you manage to get it checked out soon, good luck.

Got it checked out with the dermatologist that prescribed me roaccutane. She said it’s nothing to worry about.
