My son started Concerta a couple weeks ago and the initial results were amazing but I feel like over the last couple days it’s not working as well. Is this common as their body adjusts? Does he just need a higher dose or is this a sign it’s not going to work? Just looking for others experience!

usually just means they need a higher dose. Especially as kids grow, things change. Sometimes the meds stop working, but that’s usually months/years later.
Hi there - similar situation here. We are 3 weeks in on it. Week one was great, week two was not. Our Dr suggested trying to take 2 pills / day to see if that would help. Said that would tell us if we just need a higher dose or if we need to change meds all together. We are on day 3 of that. So far, lack of appetite is the only downside but we seem to be having improvements in behavior like we saw that first week. Hope that helps!
