anyone has experience with atomoxetine - my daughter 18 with ADHD has been started -she also has LD - mild / mood have been changed - if you try to help her ie with buttons she jumps away - gets angry very quicky

Maybe you should try another medicine. Talk to the psychiatrist

If she is more moody and irritable, which can happen with atomoxetine, I agree that another medication should be considered.

My daughter takes atomoxetine as well as clonidine and risperidone.. she seems to be much better than without it. Ours has adhd plus LD as well. Perhaps speak with the dr about a change in dosage ? Or another medication that with work well with it ? It’s really frustrating to find the correct medication/ dosage that works.

Just curious are you working with a child psychiatrist? Our son needs both a stimulant and non-stumulant. The stimulant helps to deacrease the impulsivity and the non-stimulant helps with mood and focus.

When we used one medication he still had lots of issues.

Medication take the correct dose, type and timing.
