CHADD conference

I’m thinking if you got the the CHADD conference this year in St. Louis. It would be my first time. Has anyone gone? Is it beneficial?

I have never been, but I would definitely love to if we could have swung it this year. I really like some of the keynote speakers.

I have always wanted to go to the CHADD conferences, but it is just too $$ for us.

If they would have the conference in the Wilmington DE or Philadelphia area I could drive to and from and that would save me some money but they never have it up here.

This is my second time going. I've been saving since last year to be able to go again and I scored a great flight. I'm staying at an Airbnb, sooo much cheaper! It's about 2 blocks from the hotel. It's a great time.

I too am waiting for it to be somewhere closer to Baltimore, Philadelphia, DC or NYC.

If you can't attend this year, plan a head for next year.

Maybe some of us could even share rides and or hotel rooms.

I am going - it's my 4th time. Can't wait to get there. Have always loved being around other families who are dealing with the same issues as we have in our home. I've been going off and on since 2008 or so. Have seen lots of fantastic speakers and gotten lots of good information, as well as support at the events. Continuing to look for a flight and a roommate! Any chance you'd like to split the cost of the room with me?

What do I register under? The professional institute registration rate or individual general conferences? I’m confused. The combo is too expensive for me

If you are going on your own and you do not work in the field, you are regular rate Individual General Conference fees ($390) if you are going the entire time. If you are a CHADD member, remember to call to get the discount code for the $50 off. Call the main national office at 301-306-7070. The API is for ADHD Professional Institute which is for professionals in the ADHD world and is held during the day on Thursday. I will be getting there as a parent mid afternoon on Thursday and registered as an Individual General Conference. Want to share a room?
