Could i use Akili vidéo games for my Child 8 yo ??

I real a little about it. Supposedly it helps with organizational functions though studies are premature and it hasn't been given FDIC approval yet. As a parent of a grown ADHD son, I worry about this generation of kids who's noses are buried in their phones and wonder if they are being blocked from interacting with the world and everything in it. Life is not a computer game. If it provides some neurological assistance and you want to consider enrolling your child in a study, I would consider it but I would be a bit suspicious and remember the saying "if something seems too good to be true, it may be too good to be true." There are many areas to explore, like behavior modification with rewards for correct behavior, personal and group therapy with children with similar problems, diet and allergy and neurological research. Remember that the schools just want you to drug your child for THEIR convenience. I had a school psychologist who would have made a better drug pusher on the street and I would have had more respect for her if she was one. Best of luck with your family.
