Rivaroxaban and Thread Veins

Hi,

I've been taking Rivaroxaban after a 2nd unprovoked - significant, large volume PE in January 2019.

I wondered if anyone has developed a lot of dark purple thread veins in legs since taking Rivaroxaban.

I was taking Warfarin for the first HRT provoked PE in 2010 and didn't experience this effect.

Hello, i have been taking rivaroxaban since November 2018 but i am okay. I only had a problem with bleeding but since i insert mirena loop i am now living in peace.

Have you suffered any thread veins since you started taking it?

Coincidentally , I have had a little thread vein come up Under my eye . In the last year . On Rivaroxaban 20 Mg . Whilst check skin spots in face , the skin specialist wants me to have a biopsy to check not skin cancer . I had a biopsy 5 years ago same spot , negative. Just the start of this vein . I feel sure it’s not . Having read your post it made me think it’s the Rivaroxaban that’s made this tiny red thread vein come up . It’s full of blood . I would like to get it lazered . PrivateIy . I know if they cut it , will bleed . I also had lines of break through bleeding under the skin. In my arm . I photographed and emailed the haematology specialist , they said happens with Rivaroxaban .?it went away , older skin is thin skin , so veins and breakthrough bleeding happens . I might have had one too many turmeric lates ( turmeric is a blood thinner . )
