Prostate Cancer MRI's and Focal Therapy and the side effects patients want to avoid. Caroline Moore is the first woman in the UK to become a Professor of Urology. She is passionate about improving the diagnostic and treatment pathway for men with prostate cancer, using the latest in imaging technology, decision support, and outcomes measurement. She has a particular interest in the use of MRI in the diagnosis and active surveillance of prostate cancer and had led international consensus and group work in this area, including the START1 consensus on reporting studies of MRI-guided biopsy, the PRECISE consensus on reporting MRI in men on active surveillance for prostate cancer and the PRECISION study demonstrating the superiority of an MRI-targeted prostate cancer diagnosis pathway. She also studies the impact of prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment on patient-reported outcome measures.
