Latest MSKCC visit -- just checking in

Hi Gents,

I haven't posted for a bit as, like most, life has turned a bit sideways since the outbreak of COVID-19 here in the USA.

(Quick background: Diagnosed with Gleason 6 in August 2017. 2 cores of 14 positive - 1% and 3%, respectively. Confirmation biopsy, April 2018 - 1 of 14 cores positive (2%), Gleason 6. Been on AS since then.)

I had a usual scheduled appointment at MSKCC in NYC last week, but shortly before the day, I was told not to come to the NYC location -- I was directed to the Montvale, NJ location instead.

I was able to get a PSA test there, but no DRE.

I was happy to see that my PSA dropped by almost a full point, and my fPSA still stands at 24%, so that signals I can continue on AS.

I'm glad I don't have to deal with anything "extra" during this health crisis. Hopefully, it'll be a different world six month from now.

I'm just concerned about not having a DRE.

How has everyone else been dealing with the different routine?
