Looking for a exceptional oncologist near North Carolina

Hello,

We are looking for an exceptional oncologist near N.C. My husband has been going the natural route this past year. We went to a German clinic, which helped for a short time. Now he is doing high vitamin C and working with a natural oncologist. He is wanting to find a top oncologist that is open to a combined alternative approach along with western medicine.

Any suggestions?

Thank you so much!

I'm curious, if you are open to sharing, what has his diet and fitness regiment been like?

Oh my gosh! I really don't have any idea how critical diet is, but a healthy as possible diet seems like a good choice. Personally I had a pretty good diet before being diagnosed with prostate cancer a year ago. Since then I've greatly reduced sugar and high calorie foods. I now rarely eat pizza, pasta, dairy products, especially cheese, desserts, no soda, alcohol consumption is a fraction of what I used to consume. Plenty of water, preferably fluoride free. Diet is largely plant based, though I occasionally eat chicken, fish or beef. Eggs are great way to get protein. Some grain, but try to stay away from gluten. Am mindful not to over consume food, minimize snacking, overeating. Experiment with one low-calorie day/week. Exercise as much as possible. Minimum: walking a couple of miles 3 or 4 x/week, yoga/stretching 3 x/week, 20 push ups 3x/day. Mindfulness and meditation. Hope this helps!
