Jim, I would find another oncologist who knows about how important a food plan for cancer is. It is your life so I would suggest reading How Not To Die by Dr. Michael Greger and visit his web site.
Gpinkk, it is a plant based food plan, exercise program, supplements, life style changes, protocol designed by me, positive attitude, will power and lots of faith. My life plan is two pages so if you would want to send me you email I will send it to you, gene@automotivetechnology.com
I have a diabetic diet, a failing kidneys diet, and a Coumadin diet so I am left with little to eat except good healthy foods. I never used supplements or took special "anti-cancer" additives. I did have have PCa for 11 years and now I do not have cancer. I believe in faith, exercise. and positive thinking. Thank you for your comment.
I would be interested in see your ptotocol. I too Gleason 7, had 38 radiation treatments and urologist thinks reoccurrence. I have been changing my diet, exercising and other lifestyle. Hoping to avoid ADT. Thanks in advance for any input.
very upbeat to go 7 years with no treatment and doing well. By any chance have you had an MRI of the prostate. I have had one yearly for 3 years. The last one had a PI-RadsV2 reading - it has 5 categories, one being the best and 5 the worse. I am curious if you had that done and if they gave you a category. Thanks for the info.
Rob100, I have a yearly Color Doppler and this year it was the best in 5 years. I believe in MRI but I started with Color Doppler and I am very happy with it. My Dr is and expert in doing it, reading, showing and explaining it to me.
