Pain meds under tongue? 👅

Hi is anyone taking a pain medication that goes under the tongue? If so how do you find it, is it beneficial?

I don't know if it's slow release or rapid relief. I ask this as I'm at the facial surgeon tomorrow and thus pain relief has been suggested by pain clinic before. I must admit I would prefer this over the facial injections any day, I've never had one but it just sounds painful.

This sublingual drug ( I think it's called) would be a much better alternative for me with all my conditions.

Any advice would be fab I just hope someone here has either had it or knows about it before I go to my appointment tomorrow
