bursitis and sciatica

trying to find people with these medical problems, had a new implant almost 4 years ago, first year did good, now have bursitis problems with shooting pain and sciatica problems cannot sleep at night, lay down, sit down too long, feel like I have rocks for hips.

Hi there - I feel your pain! I have had 2 steroid injections in my hip for Bursitis and have had sciatica too for nearly 7 years. So draining. I now go to a Chiropractor and my sciatica has completely gone and my bursitis isn't nearly as bad. Hope you get some relief soon.

hi ive had this problem for few years, had 3 injections, one done in theatre. I also have calcification there. had surgery 7th august removal of bursa and calcification. early days. I am still getting the nerve pain to hip and knee. wishing you all the best x

Thanks so much for your reply. Now the doctors think I have Sacroliliac Joint Disfunction besides the Bursitis. Still have problems worse with the bad weather. Tried a heated pool and that real made the bursitis worse. Trying to exercise more but it is hard, lost some weight that has helped a little bit with the joint pain.

Sorry to hear about your pain, I think my hip implant is bad or my body is rejecting it but the Doctors who did the surgery don't think so. I want to get the bursa out but they say they don't think that will help. My leg pain is getting worst, cannot find pain medicine that I can take will out having a reaction. It is hard to go to work and have any fun anymore doing things with family. I loved to dance, go bowling or just play with my grandchildren but they are all hard now. If you find out any relief let me know.
