Yes i agree. I typed out a long reply to you and in the middle of it pressed the Enter button to create a new paragraph and the whole thing disappeared! Very frustrating. :( I'm really tired tonight; writing this in a sort of haze of tiredness.

Lol. I just lost my reply to you. Talk about ironic.

Worst things happen. Like running out of wine.

Hi Caroline and Sarah too , I hate when this happens, my words

Floating about in cyberspace. Ah well things could be worse.

Wine , yes or food in general running out.

Luna keeps eating my flowers , she is a devil, she pulls the flowers of the stems rather than eats them. So I'm left with a scraggy spindly

Bunch of pink stock. Lol

Talk soon

Thats so funny, so if Luna and Oscar got together they could destroy house and garden!...lol.

I thought you were kidding when you said your cat ate your flowers. You know in top restaurants eating flowers is a delicacy!

Ha Ha now that is funny! But usually its the reeeeallllly long ones that go missing. My take on it is God can no longer withstand the weight of my typos, bad spelling and grammar and he who giveth...taketh away...ha ha

Yep I totally agree. I also have a small black hole in my flat and keep losing stuff. One day the kitten (if I'm lucky) will fall down it too :) xx

Oh now now Bev.... nawty. paw ikle kitty :-) They are hardwork though. Have you tried sticking it to the curtains...lol.

My Mum did a horrible thing to me once, well this was her way, I'd asked for a kitten, I didn't know at that point I was allergic to them, I was about 12 I think.

She didn't want one, so left me in a room with kitty who promptly hid under the sofa and it took me the best part of 20 mins to get her out. Apparently Mum was watching through the crack in the door and when I came out distressed and worried and explained I didn't think I could care for the kitten (as in know how to care for a kitten) and gave it back, she was there with the usual timely I told you so. Lost count of how many times that happened with different things in my life and that look of triumph on her face, was always so malicious and radiant. It wasn't about having or not having with her it was about the power to take whatever it was away. In the long run it was good, Im allergic to cats, but I do love them.

I just would have loved it if 'we' could have tried to take care of the cat together for that 20 mins and come to the same conclusion. Funny.

Anyway I have this theory about black holes when it comes to pens, the second sock and teaspoons....I think they all desert together, simply walk off and somewhere there is a universe with just single socks, biros , spoons and the widget off that thing you're trying to fix!

As you can see Bev...I am NOT trying to avoid homework...lol

X

I thinks thats awful what your mum did to you Caroline! A supportive parent would have helped you develop the coping skills wouldn't they?

Stop avoiding your homework - do it now or else will send the heavy mob round :) :d

Thanks Bev, that made me laugh it's about the least awful thing she ever did to me....ha ha

If I told you some of the stuff my mum was prepared to do it would make your hair curl...lol. She was truly nasty at times. Still she's a lille ole lady now and you have to let by gones be, by gones at some point.

Of course even now I call her a silly cow sometimes under my breath...lol. She's mellowed somewhat with age thank God, but she's still got it in her to do the evils! Just not the bodily strength.... ha ha.

I can laugh now but when I was very young, odd occasion she'd lock me in the cupboard under the stairs (no light in there of course). Where we lived at the time were snakes, (Im sure she check first and I was too stupid / young, then to be frightened of silly ole snakes ) , still makes you wonder sometimes what kind of contrived mind would do such a thing. All sounds a bit cliche doesnt it. Maybe I belong in a Henry James book...lol.

Now I have the pleasure of being able to say I can review these things remotely, without getting upset, like it happened to someone else. Sometimes I wonder what life would have been like if Id had a sane parent, but I didnt and so we are, as we are :-)

If wishes were horses eh.

Homework ...grrr be banging my head against my notebook all day! Okay back to the drawing board.

Hope alls well with you and your kitty.
