Merry Christmas!

Well, I had my mask making and CT scan last Monday, MRI the previous week (no results yet), and I have my Lorazepam in hand ready to start 5 weeks of radiotherapy on 9th Jan, so I'm now ready to enjoy Christmas and the New Year's Eve party.

May I wish all my fellow ANers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, with successful outcomes to any treatments you have coming up, and to those of you on W&W - long may it continue!

Day 5 (of 25) today. No problems so far, although I had a bit of a mental meltdown yesterday, feeling sorry for myself. Back on track preparing to set off for today's blast!

You are allowed to have a meltdown! It's SO emotionally and psychologically exhausting, let alone the physical toll it eventually takes. Gentle and kind with yourself, only way to manage. sending strength to see you though x Lin

Thanks, Lin. Nearly had another hiccup today when my husband unthinkingly went marching off up the road without me. Nearly, not quite. 7/25 done - more than a quarter of the way there :)
