Hi yes I have had several problems with my right eye (same side as AN) watering eyes, dry eyes and droopy eyelid .I have seen an Opthalmologist and he has confirmed its all due to AN.

Hi, my wife has problems with her eye associated with her AN. It was not fully closing. She has a gold weight fitted inside the eyelid to assist closure. It is important to avoid dry eye so keep a close eye on it (no pun). It also helps to tape it closed during the night. As I’ve said many times on this forum the side effects of this horrible situation are often the issues that most affect your life, so highlight them as quickly as possible to your consultants, you don’t always have to just put up with them. Hope this helps good luck.

I had ptosis of my eye lid when everyone else seemed to need a gold weight to get their eye closed. As I got older it dropped more so had to have it lifted surgically. We have to be different!
