Sorry to hear you have bad balance problems. Unfortunately this is quite common with AN sufferers. Have you asked to be referred to a Balance Clinic? You may find the physio exercises they suggest helpful.

I had very bad balance and walked with a walking stick for 6 months and I had to give up cycling. However my consultant referred me to a balance and hearing therapist. She gave me a series of exercises to do twice a day every day and encouraged me to gradually stop using the walking stick. Now I have been able to walk without the stick for a month and have even been cycling. I do recommend this as she also helped me with my tinnitus.
