Back. Again...?

Hi guys, here I am. After 4 years from when I made a account and 2 years after I last posted on here, I'm back again. I don't know whether this is a bad or a good thing that I'm back. In the past 2 two years a LOT has happened, both good and bad. I don't want to go of into a rant of what happened but if anyone is wondering my inbox is open 😊 In the last couple weeks/months I have been having ups and downs and I just feel like I needed to come back here, for an escape, for advice, for someone to hear me out. Right now I have a lot of things going on in my head but I kept asking myself 2 things lately. I really need an answer or at least advice for these two things.

The first one is, what is classed as 'self-harm'?? Everyone has different opinions and I just want to know yours.

The second thing is, is digging your nails into your palm 'normal' when you're nervous/anxious?

I really hope someone will be able to help.

1. Well for me self harm is something i’ve thought about doing, but once a grab the knife i can’t. Some people may do it but you have to understand why they are doing it.

2. I have always been fidgety, my main problem is digging in my cuticles and bitting my nails. From what i’ve seen in life it is very normal to do that.

I've read a few articles and they said that self harm is just damaging the skin whereas some people believe it's breaking the skin.

I completely understand. I've been building my walls up so high and strong that no one could knock them down. However, one amazing person came into my life and was able to find a way around the walls. I've still got my walls built up when it comes to opening up to my friends or family. However, when it come to my boyfriend, I'm like a book to him 😊

That’s good to hear! I’m still fairly young, and looking for a special someone. But i’m glad to hear that your boyfriend has helped you open up!🙂

They'll most likely come into your life when you least expect it and they might be even closer than you think 😊
