I have had Behcets disease my whole life but they couldn't figure it out until I was 17. That's when I was officially diagnosed. I'm on Plaquenil which helps A LOT with ulcers. I also just started Colchicine for flares and Imuran daily. I've also been on Otezla since August of 2023. I guess my question is how long did it take you to notice a difference on Otezla? Because I honestly don't know if it's doing anything for me and it's been several months now. As time goes on I'm just getting sicker, and I want to take care of myself and find the right med combination. Thanks!

Been on and off it for years. It is effective but my liver function stats would always end up rising then I would have to reduce or come off. So keep an eye on your liver function. Good luck 🤞🏼
I have Behcet's and a whole host of other rare autoimmune diseases. I have had zero of my
Behcet's symptoms by switching from traditional immunosuppression therapies to a biologic. I am on Humira and it changed my world for two of my five autoimmune diseases. I was on methotrexate, but my liver function was bad too. I started on Imuran though. Both Mehtorexate and Imuran caused significant bowels issues for me. Best of luck.
