Unknown Territory!😔
About 18months on Ibrance/Letrozole then progression to Liver. Been on Verzenio now for a short period thus far and Oncologist wants to do 9 Rounds/Weeks of IV Chemo. Has anyone had a similar experience? After the 9weeks possibly back on Verzenio or on Xeolda. Diagnosed De Novo so this will be first

Treatments after Y 90
I tried to find the answer online but failed so I thought this site might have the answer. Can you have treatments like plivucto or chemo after the SIRS microscopic treatment or is that the end ? Hopefully people will have the knowledge I cannot find or know. Thank you for solving this head scratcher

Advice for treatment of liver metastases.
Hi Ladies I finished chemo in February for second recurrence. Unfortunately my CA125 was rising, was 9 the 27 now 55 and it's a good indicator for me that something is happening. Had a CT and it shows one tumor 2.4cms in my liver. All clear otherwise. Lots of emotions. Disappointed but relieved it's

Docetaxel and gemzar together. Too much?
My soon-to-be 77-year-old husband is on a double regimen of
chemotherapy
. Before starting chemo for advanced prostate cancer, he underwent a PSMA Pet Scan. The scan showed a small node on his left kidney duct.

Advice needed recurrence
Had a brilliant response by the oncology team…
chemotherapy
c &p, followed by debulking surgery. Started Niraparib in July 2022. Was doing really well, in February 2022 my CA125 was 5 and no symptoms but two weeks ago I started to feel breathless. Thought it was a side effect of the Niraparib.

Update
My husband David is receiving
chemotherapy
(Vidaza) to improve his blood counts. His MDS is a serious stage, described to us as "refractory anemia with excess blasts 1." His blood counts are all extremely low with an ominous increase in "monocytes."

Docetaxel Update
Hi Gents, I assume this is SOC. I always have a blood draw one day prior to my chemo infusion. Prior to starting Docetaxel, my PSA was 23.6; after 3 rounds, my PSA is 10.7; a decline of 12.9! Yes, the SE are BAD. I have lost all of my hair. My fingernails are discolored, lifting off and sore. I have

Lupron only after 4.5+ years
I was diagnosed with multiple Mets in August 2018. Started Lupron Nov. 2018. Over the years PSA has bounced up and down from low of 0.5 in March 2021 to high of 1.4 in June 2020. Mostly stayed 0.6 to 0.9. Ended 2022 at .67, but last two readings were 1.01 in March and .98 two days ago. Never had RP,

I am from the UK, and was crushed when I had to cancel my planned silver wedding anniversary trip to New England twice, the first time because of the pandemic, and in October last year because of progression and switching to oral
chemotherapy
(Capecitabine/Xeloda).

Update on swollen legs/feet
Hi, I posted 2 days ago that I was experiencing swollen legs and feet and was unsure if it was due to GSF injections. Had bloods done today prior to seeing oncologist. He felt the swelling was due to Gemcitabine. Apparently it is a common side effect!Only trouble now is my platelets are only 35, so

P-Afib from cancer treatment causes different part of heart to misfire.
This said because my Afib was induced by cancer treatment ie
chemotherapy
, Herceptin & radiotherapy (on the left side of chest). I have never seen my EP in person due to Covid but I have finally a face to face appointment in a weeks time. I'd like to know more about Afib due to cancer treatment.
