Realization
I have had HCC 6 months now. I have come to realize the key in treating this is not whether the meds work; but rather whether you respond to the medication. I have read of good and great effects from the medications, however the response rate of immunotherapy agents is a maximum of 31% and a minimum

Hi All, I'm a recently diagnosed Stage IV 4B NSCLC patient (24 years old) with the KRAS G13D genetic mutation identified in my genetic screening. I've been in 2 rounds of chemo with Cisplatin + Pexemetred with plans to add Keytruda to round 3 and 4. However, my cancer is not responding to my 2nd rounds

Update liver & lymph biopsy
Those of you who have followed my husband's journey with PCa might remember that we were looking at Crescendo trial Ph1. We were told in the UK that his disease was PSMA positive and that he could be eligible for Lu177. We did not wish to wait given the increase in clinical symptoms and decided to

No SOC treatment. Metastatic lymph nodes by PSMA-PET. Rising PSA. Bone/CT scans neg. Waiting to die.
The title may seem over-dramatic. It does, however, present the present state of my PCa. I have written more than once about being Lupron ADT sensitive but stopped after first shot due to severe intolerable increase in depression. I am not eligible (SOC) for other therapies because they all require

Atari trial one year on
hello all. I’m reporting back about my 1 year on ATARI trial. I had my results back from my scan and it’s still showing no visible disease. I was apprehensive this time as chemo treatment only worked for a few months. This trial is not chemo based. This time last year I was pinning all my hopes on

Approximately how long can I get with abiraterone plus Zoladex.
(
Chemotherapy
and radiation treatments as well at diagnosis) Now I am CRPC and have added abiraterone. Approximately how long can I get with this combination. When this fails what can I expect. I know I had increased bone pain before the addition of the abiraterone.

Radiotherapy and
Chemotherapy
isn't an option either. She was prescribed steroids. As a preventative measure only she was offered
Chemotherapy
tablets for 5 days once a month only which she has accepted. After 3 months they will scan again and see if there has been any improvement.

One last battle
Yesterday I learned that my PSA went from 14 to 19 in 3 weeks and scans show my cancer is progressing in bones, liver and bladder. I was taken off the (3rd) trial and told that there’s nothing else for me in the MD Anderson Cancer Center GU oncology department. Sent home to do cabazitaxel/carboplatin
