Macrophage Activation syndrome anyone ?
Telephone consultations have resulted in many
blood
tests
, a gastroscopy, a night in ER revealing Orthostatic hypotension (I’m dubious about this) and some innocuous meds.

My
blood
tests
did not confirm the diagnosis, only the lack of symptoms while on an appropriate dose of prednisone seemed to be accepted by my GP. Then my GP felt I needed a Specialist and referred me out to a Rheumatologist-which took months to find in my area of rural Northern California.

Interpreting my results
I have had NHS
blood

which were taken at 11:30am which read: TSH 1.94 mu/L (0.20-4.50) T4 11.5pmol/L (7-17) I also had
blood
tests
done through monitor my health which I did at midnight which read: TSH 3.27 mu/L (0.27-4.50) T4 17.7pmol/L (12-22) T3 4.2pmol/L (3.1-6.8) can anyone make sense

Is there seasonality to testosterone levels?
The recovery seems to have peaked in October but then its gone down on each of the subsequent
blood
tests
. The doc says that maybe its because it is warmer in Summer/Fall than now.

TSH 37 - taking Levothyroxine 200mg
tests
have indicated low bone phosate levels - do you think this could be linked to the Levothyroxine medication?

I went straight up the hospital & 9 hours later they said the ecg’s &

In need of some help/suggestions please
and hoping that the GP agrees to start afresh, has anyone any advice on notes I should take with me when I can get in, questions I should ask, and
tests
I should definitely hope are included in any
blood
tests
? Thanks for reading if you got this far!

Hypothyriod and Feeling of Drunkiness
Found out after going through some
blood
tests
that I have hypothyroid. Been on Levo for about 2 months the 25 mg (or whatever the correct units are). I still have that feeling which appears to be my only symptom (besides the stress and anxiety it has given me).

Just spoke to my parathyroid /thyroid surgeon 😁
She as requested I get full thyroid and thyroid antibodies
blood
tests
done.... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yeah I told her I'd been trying to get my surgery to do that 🤦seeing as I've not taken any thyroid medication since January 31st, 😡 to say the least she was appalled, and she works for the nhs😂.

Lost and Confused
Each time I have to sit in a corridor for at least Seven hours to have 2
blood
tests
. They show no rising in my levels that held a 7. So I am told to leave and find my own way home. I am reluctant to go again and cannot find a way to explain the pain. So I did my own research.

Is there a dr at Ninewells who deals with APS?
By this time the thinking is I had had a migraine not a TIA but was kept on these 2 medications because of the positive
blood
tests
. I have not spoken to my rheumatologist or the stroke dr since Aug/Sep 2021 because of the covid backlog.

High TSH - and GP not advising treatment, any advice?
I've been advised I have abnormal (higher than it should be) TSH following 2
blood
tests
done over the last 12 weeks . The comment from the GP so far is to do nothing apart from wait 1 year and have another blood test.

Endo blood test codes
Hi after my recent post about rising TSH I asked my nhs endo to do the reccommend thyroid
blood
tests
. I have received the
blood
test form today but am not sure what some of the codes mean. I know he said he couldn’t do all of them so I wanted to work out which to pay for privately.

I have had a call from my GP asking me to go in to see him about a couple of Liver
Blood
Tests
I have had recently which show elevated SERUM GAMMA GT and ALT/SGPT serum levels.

GP blood test for B12 - but should other tests be done too ?
However, I had read that there are several
blood
tests
needed to check for PA but she said no, ‘maybe privately’. My specific question is, are the suite of tests listed supposed to be done by GPs or do only consultants do them in the NHS ?

Week 5 underway #2 completed
After a 'chat' with my GP after routine
blood
tests
(the usual suspects- high cholesterol and prediabetes) I decided it was time to get off the couch, get active and ensure I have a rather different chat with the GP next time. Well here I am after week 5 run 2 and I am loving it.
