Peripheral neuropathy and neurology's response
I've had all sorts of
blood
tests
and all are normal except a finding that I'm pre-diabetic and bottom end of the scale for Vitamin D. My GP got in touch with Neurology and got this response: it's just unclear to what the problem is.

Hypothalamic amenorrhea
Then I went to the gyno who did
blood
tests
and said that I am making less than zero of estrogen so she recommended the HRT estrogen patch 0.075 mg and I've been on it 3 weeks now and I've gotten no relief.

Monitoring CAD
Hi All I wonder if any of you have questioned your cardiologist as to how they monitor CAD , as I cannot understand why we all take tablets, have
blood
tests
but don’t really know the progression of our disease, they say it slows it but I would like to know how I am doing as very one is different.

T3 clearing the body
I think it was recommended not to take for 8 hours before a
blood
test. I'm going to get some private
blood
tests
, thought my Gp might request some when he wrote my repeat private prescription for T3 .

An Embarrassing new health concern in addition to my raised BP.
Recent
blood
tests
revealed I had Cronic Kidney Disease stage 3. No pre warning of this suddenly appearing on my NHS records. My GP finally explained not really to ease my anxiety and concerns. After further tests it turns out my bladder is not emptying properly after a wee.

Help with getting a diagnosis
And the minute I seem to have a glimmer of hope I get told
blood
tests
are normal and they can’t help me. Has anyone else had this issue? Did you finally get a diagnosis? If so how?

Help me understand
I’ve asked before to do
blood
tests
to see if I have rheumatoid factors but they come back fine but I know that still doesn’t determine if I have it.

Vit blood test
Today, received a letter from surgery (dictated on day I dropped off my results) calling me to go for routine
blood
tests
- was this just my routine thyroid test due in October (as far as surgery is concerned) or Vit
blood
tests
?

Blood test timing dilemma: advice please
The last few times I’ve done
blood
tests
, I’ve followed the process advised here and done the test as early in the morning as possible.

At What Level Is Low B12 Treated?
I recently had some
blood
tests
and my B12 came back low at 180, normal range 197-771. My folate was 4.7, normal range 3.9-26.8. Full blood count and ferritin fine, I had iron deficiency anaemia and have been successful treated for that and all those levels looking good.

Good news
She mentioned the results of my latest
blood
tests
so I got further info from my GP. Noone has mentioned my tumour markers recently but they were on an upward trend and I guess it was that and a dubious area in my scan that triggered a change of meds.

Speechless by my GP’s response
And the response suggests I am perimenopausal and asks about my periods - at least I am getting the
blood
tests
but sometimes when you think you aren’t being listened to, it’s because you’re really not. God it’s frustrating.

Help with blood tests please - Triglycerides high again
Then upped my T3 in April to 12.5mcg per day after
blood
tests

Pneumonia vaccination
I have spoken to a doctor here and I have got repeat
blood
tests
ordered at the medical centre in a few weeks time. My previous inflammation levels were a bit raised (PV 1.79) a month ago before we moved out but I have since responded reasonably well to this higher 10mg dose.

Just having a bad day
Today was told I needed to make an appointment to discuss recent
blood
tests
so now I'm stressing about that! The only thing in my blood panel that was out of range was hemoglobin and mch.
