Feeling a bit frightened
Hello All - I have just gotten
blood
tests
back indicating that my cholesterol is at the "risk level" (very high). I was on an introductory dose of statins, and now my GP is doubling the dose. I know this sounds silly, but I'm feeling very fragile today.

Expiration date
I never notice that much difference between shots, but my
blood
tests
confirm my shots have been getting into my cells, though I stopped checking and have actually increased my frequency anyway. Any opinion on the potency of Pan pharma 5 months past expiration.

GP wont prescribe Hydroxycobalamin until further blood tests conducted despite neuro involvement.
Good morning.I've found this forum out of desperation having experienced what I now know are symptoms of B12 deficiency for a few years. After repeated B12 levels over the years which consistently showed my levels dropping (treatable since 2021 in some parts of the country) they were finally low enough

Why donât my Family understand what Fibro does to me?
So I went to my GP and got sent for
blood
tests
for numerous conditions that could be related to it; all came back negative. I was relieved that the results were negative, but didnât understand why it wasnât going away.

Feeling anxious about appointment....
Prior to this I've had abnormal
blood
tests
for a while. I'm anemic but my iron levels, vitamin b12 levels are fine... I've had a number of UTIs this recent couple of years and have now pushed for my GP to look into it, I've been referred to a Nephrology consultant.

graves journey update
Awaiting new prescription of carbimazole, presumably it will be less⌠Will go for further
blood
tests
in 1 month after my new prescription has time to work. Selenium and Vit D seem to be doing the trick. Eyes much less puffy.

Who should I contact?
I've been diagnosed with graves disease and put onto carbimazole and beta blockers, I didn't have any
blood
tests
for the first 6 months and started to feel better from my original symptoms, (terrible hand tremors, palpations, anxiety, hair loss, lots of toilet visits) then worse in a different way,

RA - flu like symptoms for weeks
My rheumatologist said my
blood
tests
were all fine. Is it normal to fell ill the whole time with RA? Could it be the meds that are making me feel flu like? Or maybe they arent working and I need to switch to different medication?

All

Having Private Blood Tests Done. Asking for Peer Review.
I am going to have some private
blood
tests
done. Not worth discussing what is needed with a physician who has no idea what is needed.

Help - trouble with diagnosis
I saw a rheumatologist who was quite unhelpful and basically fobbed me off with some more
blood

and that was it, heard nothing back for 6 months.

Salazopyrin
Hi advice on Salazopyrin I've been taking Salazopyrin for some months with regular
blood
tests
. Inflammatory arthritis and colitis. All was going well until I received a phone call to say stop taking them because my last blood test showed a problem with red blood count.
