Yay, regardless of whether cardiovascular or resistance exercise is undertaken.

When exerted, the microscopic tears in the muscle fibres need to be repaired, so the sooner protein is consumed after exercise, the sooner the process can begin.

Of course, sufficient recovery in between and a restful night's sleep both remain crucial, since much of the growth and repair takes place during rest.

Yes! Not just because of fact that you should rebuild your muscle fibers after a workout but you want a protein that is quickly digested and that will spike insulin and Whey is a great option. It is digested quickly and spikes insulin so that you can store more of the protein.
