Update on day 1, all went well. Plan was to eat when hungry. I ate lunch and evening meal. In all honesty I was not what I would call hungry at lunch time, maybe empty ? Anyhow this was all I had all day. I did want to snack in the evening but it was what it was.... A snack attack
I started night shift at 10pm and never ate a thimg in the night. This is one of my issues. Because I do not sleep well. I am awake for about 18 hrs a day. I used to snack and eat through this time.
Bring on day two.

Night shifts are a rough thing to handle with weight control! I hope you can get a handle on the snacking, and find a way to get more sleep! That used to be a big problem for me too, being tired ... or cold .... tends send messages to you r brain that you need to eat. Not always food that is the real problem. Good luck. 🤞🌈
