would like to know if there is female in their late 50's that have 5st or more to lose and would like a diet buddy? would like to hook up.

Hi, should say me, me, really but I can't conjur up the will to start. What sort of plan are you planning? I did the Fast Diet for about 4 weeks and did quite well but then just stopped. I'm not filled with self loathing until I have to go on a beach!

It would be nice to have a diet buddy but I need convincing to keep going.

Hi jaceyar, Im counting cals I eat a healthy diet but" i eat to much" but having got my head round things that is the way forward for me and then hopefully Ill start a walking program i found in a magazine. I dont think its covincing we need to keep going its incouragement we need, so i can offer you that........how does that sound? I started to day so i will get weighed next tuesday evening ill let you know how i have got on. keep positive and have a good week.

i too want too lose 5 stone, i am getting nowhere fast, all i see are the scales going up not down?!

i had a mini stroke 3 months ago, which has made it difficult to do things, and if im honest, its easier to reach for the wrong foods coz its easier. i dont feel like cooking for one and end up eating microwave 4 for £5 meals as i havent got full use of my right arm.

i cant do much excercise either, my right leg is starting to come back, but you cant burn many calories on a zimmer frame lol

would love to buddy up if i havent put you off lol

Hi w1llow, Thanks for replying, no im not put off I had a stroke in my late thirties and i know and understand your difficulties; its aday at a time as it is with most things ...... so yes i would like to buddy up. As you know i have 5st to lose and i finally got my head round things yesterday so i started this morning, i eat a healthy diet but" eat to much" so having looked at the sight iv decided to calorie count. 1400 cals per day and that will keep my portion sizes correct then hopefully by next week i intend to start a walking plan which i found in a magazine. Any way remember its small changes walking up and down stairs (if you have them and can manage them) you could plot a plan of so many times up and down per day and in crease as you are able... any thing really that is over and above you normaly activite would do! All the best keep in touch. Oh Ill be getting weighed next tuesday evening if i dont hear from you before ill let you know how i get on, im off to plant so veg x
