I. Made this deep pan pizza tonight. I was pleased with how it turned out. I used the last of my yeast so I hope I can manage to find some more!

Itโ€™s only in the lockdown Iโ€™m getting to grips with using yeast and I was pleased with this, so thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

Did you use a recipe to make the pizza dough? I must admit I've not really tried to use yeast - I would like to give it a go, but somehow not managed to do so yet. But your pizza has inspired me to maybe try it out sometime.

That's kind. This is the ingredients

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

1 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. salt

2 cups flour

1 Tbs. olive oil

Combine warm water sugar and yeast leave for a 5 mins to froth

Tip yeast mixture into flour and salt. Stir to combine with a fork

Kneed briefly to bring together

Put oil in a bowl and coat your dough

Leave to rise 30 mins in warm place

Knock air out.

Shape dough and top. Cook at 220 deg

It really was lovely. I dont usually eat the edge but I did this time ๐Ÿ˜„

Thanks Ali, how long does it take to cook in the oven at 220'C? I shall put 'active dry yeast' on my shopping list now, and I will post it when I make it. Thanks very much! :-)

I think it was in there for 20 to 25 mins. I dont like the edges too dark.
