My first Christmas Dinner as a vegan and I’m surprised how easy it was to accommodate my meal sharing a table with 7 carnivores and a vegetarian. Next year I hope I’m a good enough cook to make my own but yesterday shared a Waitrose nut roast with my vegetarian daughter in law, while the rest scoffed their turkey.
I chose vegan mince pies with Alpro ice cream to follow.

It is easy. I made a Vegan Meatloaf and it was delicious, shame though I also had to eat mine with everyone else eating turkey.
You never know, I may at least convert one family member to veganism.😉
My youngest son has now started to talk about being a flexitarian, so that's a start.
On the other hand my oldest son, not realising he was on speaker phone said to his mother "dad's not going to ruin Christmas by making everything vegan is he?"
His wife is my vegetarian daughter in law so that's in the right direction too. And I know she gets him to eat (and enjoy) a reduced meat diet.
That's a very good start. I have a husband who will look at something different and say 'I don't like that' and my response to him is always 'how do you know you don't like it if you've never tried it'. I do have a feeling that eventually my youngest daughter and her husband may eventually become vegetarian and she's already mentioned that we can all eat too much meat, their children don't eat too much meat which is good. As for my eldest daughter, just like her father I cannot see it happening and she will not listen to reason at all.
I'm glad for you your daughter in law is a vegetarian, that is definitely going in the right direction, well done to her for getting your son to eat a reduced meat diet.
