I was looking at what you can use Aquafaba (bean water) for and came across this website.
The lemon meringue pie looks delicious. I think I might give that a go at some point as I used to make lemon meringue pie for my dad when I was a teenager.

Hi Ali, this is really interesting and you can make your own Aquafaba by simply draining the liquid from a can of chickpeas into a blender and adding a little cream of tartar 1/4 tea spoon to 100ml makes it whip up quicker fluffier and creamier.
I love the look of the chocolate mousse made with aquafaba. So I hope that you enjoy your lemon meringue pie especially as you have fond memories.
Thank you Jerry. I think the chocolate mousse looks good too. I did the whipped cream which I posted the other day and it was very simple to make and extremely light and fluffy which like you say I think was partly due to the cream of tartar Iβd bought especially for it. Itβs so light a bit like puffed air flavoured with vanilla. Trouble is with all these things is the dreaded sugar!
Sounds good, i would love to try a cake made with the nean water. Is there any bean that is a complete protein without having the estrogen attention that one of them seem to get talked about?
I heard a few yrs back that beans & rice together in the same meal is like a complete protein for vegetarians. Is that true does anyone know what to put on a plate to get iton, protein & folic acid please? Is that possible? Thankyou
Ooh Ali, thank you so much for sharing this. I love the look of the Lemon Meringue Pie as well and also the Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Ice Cream and also the Brownies.
Think I may have to increase the fast walking to counteract the extra caloriesπ€£.
