I bought it as when you put up your post I looked to see what it was all about on amazon 😁 Looks good. A comment said some recipes have eggs so I’ll just swop it for orgran egg replacer. Thanks for posting it and good luck with your creations 👍😁

Just to say - I've managed to borrow this book from my local library today - thanks to your suggestion here, and I am already excited to try out a recipe. So if either of you have any recommendations of particular ones to try - let me know which ones - I can see it's packed with lots of lovely recipes.

That's good Zest. I've been concentrating on my cake sale and j have another in July as well. Once the cake sales are done I will have a go with the book.

I use coconut sugar to sweeten my three ginger herbal tea, I love it😀

Oh sorry Zest I’ve only just seen this and I did receive the book in the end. I’m struggling with it a bit as I’m not good at following recipes and the ingredients lists are quite long. I did make some cakes today but not from this book. It seems like the sugar used in the clean cakes book is coconut sugar which is interesting. I want to reach in the book and eat the cakes!

Hi Ali,

I have got some Coconut sugar, which is actually really lovely - I made some biscuits with it, and they were gorgeous. I only used a very small amount - as I don't usually add any sugar at all - only things like banana or apple sauce or dried fruits for sugar, rather than actual granulated sugar. But I do like Coconut sugar - Hidden suggested it to me, and I think it's very nice - only used it once so far, but would do so again.

I'll let you know if I make a cake from the book - as I've not had chance to look through it yet.

That would be great if you did. I like coconut sugar as well. It’s quite expensive but when you only use a little amount it goes a long way.
