You do have a reply!

You may not realise but your comment is actually a little rude. You have posted quite a few times on here and have always had replies/ advice despite choosing not to follow it.

This site is run by volunteers and is for peer to peer support, there is no compulsion to reply to anyone but we do try our best. I am not sure that there is much more left to say to you, it's all been said before ( you need a referral to a Consultant who has experience in diagnosing Vasculitis ).

I apologise if I see rude, but I'm so angry right now with myself as I have talked to my gp about referring me to different specialist but he says I would have to go through all the tests again, and has told me my consultant's are specialists.

My problems seem more frequent and the pains in my feet are lasting longer.Which is worrying me,so just hope no damage is being done in the proceeds.Am now also getting pains in my sides.Just hope all is no cause to add more worry.

So I suppose Im really looking for answers that I may or may not ever get, until something serious happens to me.

Deep breath and relax,it's just hard to stay calm sometimes with my anger.

Kind regards

Jan 😐

We almost all have the same problems - if you can't get this GP to understand the difference between a rheumatologist who also sees vasculitis patients and someone who pretty much ONLY does vasculitis in a centre of excellence then you have a choice. You try to change GP (it is still possible though you may end up in the fire instead of the frying pan) or you try to find someone who does it privately - although I believe few top vasculitis people do, Keyes will know.

But as Keyes says - we're all volunteers or punters. If we can't help with your query - would it have helped any more had you had 10 replies all saying that?

Thank you for all your help. Will certainly be talking to my gp very soon.

Hi Jan,

If Central nervous system Vasculitis is the rule out then you need to see Dr Desmond Kidd in London

Ask your GP for a referral, if they refuse ask for the clinical reason, get it documented in your notes and for a copy in writing.

Any tests wouldn't necessarily have to be repeated. It's unfair but only you can request the referral and insist on answers.
